The Brookfield Craft Center, located on Route 25, is a favorite place for residents and tourists alike. The landmark has been housed in an historical mill for more than 50 years. The center provides an ever-changing selections of classes and programs for the public and also presents ongoing exhibits at its Lynn Tendler Bignell Exhibition Gallery. The Brookfield Historical Society & Museum, located at the corners of Route 25 and 133, is open to the public each weekend from 12 to 4 pm. Exhibitions change seasonally. The Train Show is held the first weekend of April and the Festival of Crafts, held the first Saturday of November at the Whisconier Middle School on West Whisconier Road, is sponsored by the Museum. DeGrazia Vineyards at 131 Tower Rd., Brookfield offers informative guided winery tours, complimentary wine tasting & country gift shop. The facility is also available for private functions. Open daily 11-5 April to Dec.and winter hours are Sat. & Sun. 11-5.
